Comcast has added Spanish-language HD channel Telemundo in Washington, D.C. markets. Customers with Xfinity TV will now see WZDC Telemundo available in hi-def on their channel guides, broadcasting content such as Telenoticias Washington, Primetime Line-up, and Sports in high-definition.
“Telemundo Washington is proud to be the only Spanish-language station in the market broadcasting local content in HD,” said Julio Aliaga, Telemundo Washington’s News Director.

Telenoticias Washington, widely recognized as “La Voz de la Comunidad” (The Voice of the Community), continues to be the preferred choice for the Hispanic community in the D.C. metropolitan area. The show airs nightly, Monday through Friday.
Primetime Line-up – Telemundo broadcasts and produces original content in HD, including the new novella, Los Herederos del Monte, and the highly anticipated La Reina del Sur, premiering in February.
Sports – Telemundo is proud to be the home of the 2011 Mexican Soccer League, and now viewers will be able to catch all the action in stunning HD.
Viewer Favorites, including a dating game show, 12 Corazones; a courtroom show, Caso Cerrado; and Telemundo’s news magazine program, Al Rojo Vivo.
