Look out iPad? IN Media will release a new Windows 7 tablet in the first quarter of 2011. The Tablet PC is powered by the 1.66GHZ Intel Atom processor and comes stock with a 160 GB hard drive. You’ll be able to watch HD-quality content on the tablet’s 11-1/4″ LCD display, or send it to your HDTV via HDMI. The tablet also has a forward facing camera for video chat and a built in eReader.
“We wanted to launch a tablet that did everything, not just a media player or eReader or net book but all those things and much more,” stated IN Media C.E.O. Nick Karnik.
IN Media boasts the Windows 7 Tablet PC will support all video types including rich media Flash files, unlike the Apple iPad.
The Windows 7 Tablet PC will carry an MSRP of $399 US.
