Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho will be released as a special 50th Anniversary Blu-ray Disc celebrating 50 years since its debut in theaters in 1960. Psycho was nominated for several Oscars including Best Director (Alfred Hitchcock) and Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Janet Leigh). The film was named #1 on the AFI’s 100 Years…100 Thrills list, and features the famous “shower scene” and unforgettable character Norman Bates. The Blu-ray disc is a single BD-50 with 1080p resolution and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. Total run time is 1 hour 49 minutes. Psycho 50th Anniversary (List: $26.98) will hit shelves on Oct. 19 and is currently available to pre-order for $17.99.
