“When Time Magazine called 3D the future of movies…we doubt this is what they had in mind.” So says the voiceover in the new Jackass movie trailer. Jackass 3D — in 3D — will release this coming October 15, 2010. Who gave these guys 3D cameras anyway? If you have seen other Jackass films, or the television series on MTV, you know what you’re in for. Hey, 3D is desperate for more content. And, why not push the medium even further? My only question is whether or not James Cameron will be at the opening. Hey kids, don’t try this at home.
