HD channels added to FiOS TV lineup

Nat Geo WildVerizon is has added two additional HD channels to their FiOS TV lineup. Customers in all markets can now enjoy Investigation Discovery HD, and customers in Maryland and Virginia can tune into Nat Geo WILD HD. Later this week, Nat Geo WILD HD will be added to all FiOS TV markets.

Nat Geo WILD HD explores nature and extraordinary creatures of land, sea and air. The high-def channel (720p/1080i) can be found on FiOS channel 632. Nat Geo WILD HD was launched in the U.S. on March, 2010.

Investigation DiscoveryInvestigation Discovery HD provides insight into criminal investigations and other crime-related events. The high-def channel (1080i) can be found on FiOS channel 623. Investigation Discovery HD was launched late 2009.

Verizon says they now offer up to 142 high-definition channels and over 3,300 video-on-demand (VOD) titles every month.
