Satellite telco Dish Network has launched an independent channel dedicated to coverage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup matches. The Univision FIFA World Cup Channel offers 24 hours of World Cup matches in Spanish language and is only available to DishLATINO customers.

The exclusive channel broadcasts recaps, highlights and primetime replays of the World Cup matches.

In addition, an interactive remote feature lets you vote on who will win upcoming games. Those who vote on the games will be entered into sweepstakes to win an iPad each week, and a grand prize of a $5,000 home entertainment system.

“The Univision FIFA World Cup Channel, combined with Univision, TeleFutura and Galavision in high definition, offers our DishLATINO customers unprecedented access to the best the World Cup has to offer,” said Dave Shull, senior VP Programming for DISH Network.

Univision FIFA World Cup Channel can be found on DISH Network Channel 826.
