Comcast offers 50 Mbps in Indianapolis market

comcast_logo_247x247Comcast announced they now offer 50 Mbps in their Indianapolis, IN market areas under DOCSIS 3.0 (Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification). The faster internet speed is part of their Extreme 50 service package, which provides 50 Mbps downstream and 10 Mbps upstream for current cable customers at $99.95 per month.

Indianapolis areas which now have access to the upgrade include Anderson, Bloomington, Kokomo, Greenwood, Noblesville, Fishers, Lafayette, Attica and Muncie. 50 Mbps is already available through Comcast in the Fort Wayne and South Bend areas.

Businesses in the area also have the option of a Deluxe package (50 Mbps Down/10 Mbps Up) for $189.95 per month. The Deluxe service offers Microsoft Communication Services (corporate class e-mail, calendars and document sharing) as well as firewall protection, static IPs, multiple e-mail addresses and customer support 24/7.
