Dante’s Inferno available today

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, all of you hopeless romantics can share in Dante’s struggle to save his beloved Beatrice from the fiery depths of Hell. Today, February 9th, marks the release date for EA’s latest epic adventure, Dante’s Inferno.

While loosely based on the classic poem of the same title, Dante’s Inferno is more of a God of War style hack and slash adventure game. Players race through the many rings of Hell in pursuit of Dante’s lost love Beatrice while upgrading their arsenal and killing everything that gets in their way. Reviews, thus far, have been favorable especially for fans of this genre.

Dante’s Inferno is now available for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Amazon currently has both priced at $56.99. EA also plans to release a PSP version later this month. Dante’s Inferno has been rated M by the ESRB.
