Starting today you can purchase games on demand from Xbox LIVE, and on Thursday Aug. 13 you be able to browse and purchase games through the Xbox LIVE Marketplace on the web.
Once content is purchased on Xbox.com, your 360 will automatically download the new content next time you connect to Xbox LIVE.
The XBox LIVE Deal of the Week will be “Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned” which can be purchased on Aug. 24 for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15). “Halo 3” Splatter Spree Theme and the “FIFA 09” Ultimate Team add-on are also content to be added this month.
The games are found in the Marketplace and new titles will be added every Tuesday.
Game manuals can be viewed, downloaded or printed from Xbox.com.
Avatar enhancements were also added. You can equip your Avatar with animated items and purchase items from the new Avatar Marketplace.
Microsoft has also added improvements to the user interface, including video display options, account management enhancements and user ratings.
Last week Microsoft added the ability to use PayPal to purchase content on Xbox Live. The service is limited to customers in the U.S.
