HD Theater and Mecum Auction Company announced today “MECUM AUTO AUCTION: MUSCLE CARS AND MORE” which will be the first live weekly auto auction in high definition. Mecum Auction Company specializes in high-end muscle, timeless classics and rare exotic cars.
Mecum Auction Company’s CEO Dana Mecum says, “Each auction features real buyers and sellers in a competitive display of bidding prowess, while contemplating the crucial car-by-car question of ‘What’s it worth?'”
The series, which will run for six consecutive Saturdays, starts March 29 and ends in a grand finale on May 17. The show can be seen on HD Theatre, Discovery Network’s original HD network.
HD Theatre broadcasts high definition programming in 1080i and 5.1 digital surround sound 24-hours a day. Other Discovery channels include TLC, Animal Planet, The Science Channel, Discovery Health, and the Military Channel.
