Sony delays ‘Home’ for PS3

Sony delays the launch of “Home”, their anticipated virtual community for Playstation 3. Kazuo Hirai, the CEO of Sony’s videogame unit, stated
at the Tokyo Game Show industry conference that he wanted to wait until
he was satisfied with the quality of the product.

Sony faces challenges with the “overpriced” Playstation 3. It has been attempting to work better with third-party videogame publishers in order to increase the number of compatible games. Sony has been criticized for making it difficult for third-party game producers to work with the PS3 platform.
