Amazon’s LOVEFiLM now streaming in HD

Amazon's overseas company LOVEFiLM is now streaming in high-definition (HD) in both the UK and Germany, the company announced this morning. The service is similar to Netflix and Amazon's Instant Video, offering unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows on demand to supporting devices.

Amazon Instant Video now on Xbox 360

A little less than two months after the PS3 beat them to punch, the Xbox 360 now joins the Amazon Instant Video family. That means all videos you've purchased or have currently rented from Amazon are now available on Microsoft's ubiquitous game console, and if you're an Amazon Prime member, you'll also find the entire Prime Instant Video library there as well. Xbox Live Gold subscribers who are also Amazon Prime members get unlimited access to over 17,000 Prime Instant Videos at no additional cost. Of course Xbox users with Kinect peripheral will have the extra bonus of finding and playing their videos with the wave of a hand or sound of their voice.
