HBO’s Watchmen based on the DC comic series premieres its first episode tonight, Oct. 20 at 9:00 PM. The series is based on the comic book/graphic novel co-created and illustrated by Dave Gibbons.
The series stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Frances Fisher, Louis Gossett Jr., Jeremy Irons, Regina King, and Don Johnson. Watchmen, the 2019 television series, was created by Damon Lindelof.
Synopsis: Set in an alternate history where masked vigilantes are treated as outlaws, Watchmen embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel of the same name while attempting to break new ground of its own.
