‘Rocketman’ Blu-ray, 4k Blu-ray & Exclusive Retailer Editions Detailed

Taron-Egerton-in-Rocketman-16x9Rocketman will release to several disc editions from Paramount Pictures on August 27th following earlier digital purchase options on August 6th. On disc, the film will be available on Blu-ray, 4k Blu-ray, DVD, and several retailer exclusives.

On Blu-ray, Rocketman is presented in 1080p at 2.39:1 aspect ratio, while the 4k Blu-ray provides 2160p resolution with HDR using Dolby Vision and HDR10. The English soundtrack on the Blu-ray editions is provided in Dolby Atmos and 24-bit Dolby TrueHD 7.1 with subtitles in English SDH.

Included with the Digital, 4K Blu-ray, and Blu-ray releases of Rocketman are over 75 minutes of bonus content including four extended musical sequences, 10 deleted & extended scenes, sing-along tracks, and more. And, a special booklet: A Message from Elton John is also included on the Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray editions.

Best Buy SteelBook


Best Buy has a 4k Blu-ray SteelBoook edition of Rocketman selling for $34.99. The custom artwork features Elton John on the cover with reflections of his piano seen in his famous sunglasses. The 2-disc edition includes a 4k Blu-ray, Blu-ray and Digital 4k copy (where available), as well as all the extras.

Walmart SteelBook


Walmart has an exclusive SteelBook edition of Rocketman with disc copies of the film on Blu-ray, DVD along with a code to redeem a Digital Copy and bonus material. In addition, with an included code those show purchase this edition can get a digital copy of the film Almost Famous (2000) though Walmart-owned Vudu. That offer expires on Dec. 31, 2021. The exclusive SteelBook from Walmart sells for $30.99.
