This week the much-anticipated release of Alita: Battle Angel to packaged media arrives on Blu-ray, 4k Blu-ray, and DVD. In addition to the standard editions, several exclusive retailer versions are available as well as a Limited Edition Collector’s Set with 64-page book, 2 collectible art prints, and signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Hellboy (2019) hits stores on Blu-ray, Ultra HD Blu-ray, and DVD as well as a Limited Edition 4k SteelBook from Best Buy. Each combo edition from Lionsgate includes an extra disc and Digital Copy.
20th Century Fox’s animated feature Missing Link (2019) starring Hugh Jackman and Zoe Saldana gets released to Blu-ray Disc and DVD, the former packaged in a combo edition with DVD and Digital Copy redeemable through Movies Anywhere.
From Criterion, you can pick up new Blu-ray editions from 4k restorations of 1984 (1984) starring Richard Burton and Do The Right Thing (1989) from Director Spike Lee. Arrow has printed a Special Edition of the John Hughes comedy Weird Science (1985) to Blu-ray derived from a new 4k restoration. And, Warner Archives brings the war film Merrill’s Marauder’s (1962) to Blu-ray Disc for the first time.
