Zombieland (2009) starring Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg and Emma Stone will get a 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray release from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on Oct. 1, 2019.
The All-Region, 10th Anniversary 2-disc edition includes the film on Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and in digital formats by redeeming with Movies Anywhere partners.
In 4k, Zombieland has been upgraded to 2160p resolution at 2.40:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 (High Dynamic Range) for expanded color and brightness. A Dolby Atmos/Dolby TrueHD 7.1 improves the soundtrack from previous 5.1 channel versions.
Subtitles plentiful in this 4k release, with 25 different languages offering text translations of the film. And, voiceover dubs are available in 15 languages making this a truly “international” 4k release.
On the 4k Blu-ray there’s a new bonus feature titled “Raised From the Dead: Zombieland A Decade Later” along with two previously-released extras and trailer (presumably in 4k). The included Blu-ray Disc has more bonus material such as deleted scenes, visual effects progression scenes, audio commentary and more from previous Blu-ray editions.
