Every summer we ask you, the reader, to help determine the best 4k Blu-ray Disc release so far for the year. We’re mid-way through 2019 and there have been about 85 new Ultra HD Blu-ray titles not including imports or retailer exclusive editions from Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.
This short list of 4k Blu-rays released January through June is determined by popularity both in sales and in reader interest on HD Report, so please don’t hate us if your favorite movie isn’t included! Instead, use the comments below to chime in on a release we may have omitted. You should also know we only chose one title from multiple-film franchises (Eg. Toy Story over Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, etc.) just to keep things simple.
