Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has remastered The Natural (1984) starring Robert Redford and Glenn Close for release on 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the film’s theatrical debut. The 2-disc edition includes both the Theatrical Version and Barry Levinson’s Director’s Cut of the movie, and features 2160p resolution with HDR10 (High Dynamic Range) color enhancements. The soundtrack has also been upgraded to Dolby Atmos for immersive audio effects that defaults to Dolby TrueHD 7.1 on non-Dolby supporting systems. The Natural 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray edition hits stores on June 4, 2019.
