We love it when TV shows get released to 4k Blu-ray! The latest is Hulu’s Castle Rock from creators Stephen King and J.J. Abrams.
The first season of Castle Rock with ten episodes will release to Blu-ray, Ultra HD Blu-ray and DVD on Jan. 8, 2019. Each Blu-ray combo edition includes a second disc (either DVD or Blu-ray) and digital copies of the show.
Castle Rock on 4k Blu-ray is presented in 2160p resolution with HDR (High Dynamic Range). Total run time of the disc is 550 minutes.
Bonus material includes the featurettes “Blood on the Page” and “A Clockwork of Horror: Merging the styles of Stephen King & J.J. Abrams” and ten “Inside the Episode” extras.
The Bad Robot/Warner Bros. production stars André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Bill Skarsgård and Sissy Spacek.
