Check out the trailer for the second season of CBS’s Star Trek: Discovery premiering on Jan. 17, 2019. The new trailer was revealed at Comic-Con in New York City last weekend and follows an earlier teaser shown at Comic-Con San Diego last summer.
In Season Two, Sonequa Martin-Green returns as Michael Burnham along with Shazad Latif as Ash Tyler and Doug Jones as Saru. The trailer teases a vision Spock had of an entity he called “Red Angel” who Michael has also seen. It’s exciting to see that Michelle Yeoh will appear in Season Two as Emperor Georgiou/Captain Philippa Georgiou. And, we get a glimpse of Ethan Peck as Spock.
