There was a 14 year gap between the first Incredibles film and this year’s sequel Incredibles 2. Was it worth the wait? Absolutely! Incredibles 2 from writer/director Brad Bird has all the ingredients that made the first film so good, and is just as fun with returning cast members such as Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter and Samuel L. Jackson.
Incredibles 2 was one of last summer’s hits, especially among the younger crowd, and soon will be available at home on Blu-ray, 4k Blu-ray, DVD and digital formats. The film will release to disc formats on Tuesday, Nov. 6, likely following an early digital release on either Oct. 23 or Oct. 30.
Each combo edition from Disney/Pixar includes bonus material, a second disc on DVD or Blu-ray, and Digital Copy redeemable with Movies Anywhere. On average, Incredibles 2 on Blu-ray is priced $24.99 and Ultra HD Blu-ray $29.99. Both versions are available to pre-order from Amazon.
There will also be retailer exclusive available. Best Buy has a SteelBook edition of Incredibles 2 planned, Target has both a RedCard and Jack-Jack figurine edition, and, Walmart has their own exclusive Blu-ray edition that isn’t detailed yet.
Disney Movie Club also has an Exclusive Bundle offer with exclusive merchandise.
