20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for the upcoming American cyberpunk film Alita: Battle Angel starring Rosa Salazar from the ‘Maze Runner’ franchise.
Produced by James Cameron (Avatar) and Jon Landau (Titanic), the movie is based on the manga book series titled “Gunnm” from Japanese artist Yukito Kishiro about a technologically advanced cyborg who attempts to rediscover her past.
Sin City‘s Robert Rodriguez directed and co-wrote the screenplay for the film along with Cameron and Laeta Kalogridis. Eiza González, Jennifer Connelly, Jackie Earle Haley, Michelle Rodriguez, and Christoph Waltz are among other cast members.
Alita: Battle Angel hits theaters in the US, including Premium Large Format, RealD 3D, Digital 3-D and IMAX theaters. on Dec. 21, 2018.
