Want to know what’s coming up in 4k on DirecTV? On Thursday, the British Open at Carnoustie will broadcast in 4k for the first time at Holes 1 and 18, and the 4k signal includes High Dynamic Range (HDR) color on TVs that support it.
On Friday night, the New York Yankees host the New York Mets at 7:05pm Eastern time. The event will be available in 4k with HDR on DirecTV Channel 105.
And, on Saturday night Channel 104 will air Eric Clapton in concert at 9pm Eastern Time in 4k (2160p) video resolution.
DirecTV Channel 104 provides documentaries, shows, and original series in 4k with HDR (when available), while Channel 105 brings shows, movies on demand, and live sports in 4k (HDR when available).
Channel 105, sandwiched between the above channels, offers pay-per-view programming in 4k including the subway series on Friday night between the NY Yankees and NY Mets.
