Hulu is currently updating their app for iPad and iOS devices to bring a more personalized experience to customers. Their 5.15 update, uploaded today, now lets subscribers add content to their MyStuff library without actually recording it to their DVR storage space.
The update also brings new DVR options into a pop-up modal that include recording as whole series, new episodes only, and new and previously-aired episodes.
Hulu says there’s one requirement for recording Sports and Leagues categories, and that is subscribers must choose and add teams to their MyStuff library in order to record, as there is currently no auto-record feature.
Last week, Hulu experienced down times during peak hours in which customers had trouble with logging-in and streaming programs. The down times were particularly heavy starting around 7 p.m. Eastern on Jan. 23, and Jan. 24, but since then no major outages have been reported.
