Warner Bros. has revealed the release date and info about the war drama Dunkirk on Blu-ray, 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray and DVD. The film will hit stores on disc Dec. 19, preceded by an early digital release on Dec. 12, 2017.
On 4k Blu-ray, Dunkirk is presented in 2160p with deeper color from the HDR10 specification. On Blu-ray, video is presented in 1080p. Audio is provided in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 (English) on both Blu-ray formats.
The 4k Blu-ray combo edition from Warner Home Video comes with a presentation of Dunkirk on both 4k Blu-ray and Blu-ray, a Blu-ray with bonus features, plus a Digital Copy. The Blu-ray edition also includes bonus features.
Dunkirk on Blu-ray carries an MSRP of $35.99, while the 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray edition is list-priced at $44.99. Amazon is taking pre-orders for $30.95 and $29.99, respectively.
Directed by Christopher Nolan, Dunkirk made $187.7 million at the domestic box office. The film incorporates a mix of both IMAX and 65mm film to tell the stories of British and Allied troops trapped in Dunkirk, France during World War II.
