The fourth and last season of the Starz! Original Series Black Sails is now available on Blu-ray Disc and DVD. The 3-time Primetime Emmy-winning show ended its 4 season-run on April 2nd, collecting three Primetime Emmys including twice awarded “Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series.”
Like previous seasons of Black Sails, Season 4 on Blu-ray is formatted in 1080p at 1.78:1 widescreen aspect ratio. And, to showcase the series’ award-winning sound the discs feature an English soundtrack in Dolby TrueHD 7.1. French and Spanish language soundtracks are also available in Dolby Digital 2.0.
Bonus material in this 3-disc set includes the five featurettes “Inside the World of Black Sails,” “Creating the World,” and roundtables “Women in Piracy,” “The Legends of Treasure Island,” and “Fearless Fans.”
Black Sails: The Complete Fourth Season carries an MSRP of $49.99 (Blu-ray) and $44.99 (DVD), but upon release date is selling for $34.99 and $29.99, respectively.
