Netflix’s Original series The Crown will premiere its second season on Dec. 8, 2017. In anticipation, the streaming juggernaut turned content producer has uploaded a trailer for Season 2 that highlights Queen Elizabeth II and the challenges and tribulations she faces as the young queen.

Like the first season, Season Two will consist of ten episodes of The Crown running approximately one hour each that will be available to stream or download to mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets (unfortunately not PCs).

The series was created by Peter Morgan (The Last King of Scottland), and stars Claire Foy, Matt Smith, and Victoria Hamilton. The Crown is distributed world wide by Netflix, produced in association with Left Bank Pictures and Sony Pictures Television Production UK.

The Crown will also be available to stream in 4k video resolution to supporting TVs. Here’s a list of some of the newest Netflix titles in 4k, as well as a longer list of Netflix titles available in Ultra HD resolution.
