FOX NOW App Updated for Amazon Fire TV

FOX-NOW-logo-firetvThe FOX NOW app for Amazon’s Fire TV media player has updated with several improvements that are worth taking a look at. Version 2.7 came with a completely redesigned video player for FireOS 5+ users, with Pause, Fast Forward, and Rewind buttons that appear when the remote is tapped. And, the player controls can be hidden during ad playback. The update also stopped instances of the Fire TV freezing and crashing while using the app. Those updates, however, were hard to realize because Version 2.7 often crashed during the actual update itself. Fox Broadcasting issued a quick update though that fixed the upgrade problems, so look for Version 2.7.1 in the app store. Anyone using the app for the first time will have to log in with the username and password associated with a TV service provider. Once authenticated, the entire FOX primetime lineup, including episodes of current seasons, are available to stream on demand.
