The March Madness Live app channel for Roku has launched just in time for the start of the NCAA Division I Men’s March Madness tournament. The app is available on Roku players and Roku TV models in the U.S., and once authenticated with a pay TV service account offers access to all of the March Madness Live app features including the tournament’s 67 games, live brackets, live scoring, video highlights and more.
To get the app, just search for March Madness Live on the Roku store and select “Add Channel.” Users are then asked to authenticate with a TV service provider, but those who don’t want to authenticate right away can get a preview for a limited time. And, any games broadcast on CBS won’t require authentication.
The March Madness Live app can be registered with most TV service providers including AT&T U-verse, Charter Spectrum, Cox, DirecTV, Dish, Cablevision Optimum, Time Warner Cable, Verizon FiOS, Comcast Xfinity and others.
The NCAA First Four on truTV airs Tuesday, March 15, and Wednesday, March 16 (6 p.m. ET, both days). First round game coverage will begin Thursday, March 17, and Friday, March 18 (Noon-Midnight, both days). All games will be available across four national television networks including TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV.
Charter is not supporting the app on Roku players. FYI
