Verizon’s mobile streaming app go90 has been updated for both iOS and Android devices with an improved search function for finding programs. In addition, those hiccups that occurred while streaming longer videos have been been alleviated. Other bugs were also squashed for this new app release.
On Android, the newest app version is 1.3.0 and is compatible with 4.2 or higher operating systems.
On Apple devices, version 1.3.0 is also the latest release and compatible with iOS 8.0 or higher.
The apps are available for both smartphones and tablets — downloadable free-of-charge from iTunes or Google Play.
Go90 (the brand name that refers to the act of turning a smartphone horizontally to watch videos), launched back in October 2015 and is Verizon’s answer for viewers who want to watch their programs anywhere.
The app allows users to watch live sports, music and original shows and TV series. Social media options include the ability to clip videos and share on social media networks, as well as follow celebrities, shows and friends.
