Netflix has released the first official trailer for Season Two of their original series Marvel’s Daredevil, launching worldwide on March 18, 2016. Instead of video footage from the season, however, the trailer shows a collage of imagery set in a cathedral-type environment. The trailer concludes with the voice of villain Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin.
Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.
Marvel’s Daredevil was created by Drew Goddard based on the Marvel Comic superhero. The series stars Charlie Cox as blind public defender Matt Murdock who fights crime as Daredevil.
In other Netflix news, the service launched in over 130 countries worldwide this week.
