‘Legend’ Blu-ray/Digital HD Combo Release Date Announced

legend-blu-ray-angle-500pxUniversal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the home media release date for Legend on Blu-ray Disc with Digital HD copy, On Demand, and standalone DVD will be March 1st, 2016. The Blu-ray and DVD releases of Legend will include filmmaker commentaries and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film.

Universal did not mention an early Digital HD release date for the film.

The Blu-ray edition of Legend is formatted in 1080p video at 2.40:1 widescreen aspect ratio with English DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 and Dolby Digital 2.0 audio tracks.

Total run time of the film is two hours and twelve minutes.

In Legend, Tom Hardy (Mad Max: Fury Road, The Revenant) plays twin brothers Reggie and Ronnie Kray who create an empire in London during the 1960’s.

The film was written and directed by Brian Helgeland (Robin Hood, 2010), and also stars Emily Browning (Sucker Punch), Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service), and Christopher Eccleston (Thor: The Dark World).
