The NHL app for both Google Android and Apple iOS devices has been updated to support Chromecast, as well as includes video enhancements and other general improvements for usability on mobile devices. In addition, the app for Android tablets and Apple iPad has launched a brand new video section.
The new NHL app for Android devices is Version 5.1006 and requires Android version 4.0 or higher. The app for Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is Version 6.0 and requires iOS 6.0 or later. Both apps are free to download from Google Play or Apple iTunes.
The app from NHL Interactive offers in-game video highlights and live game audio from every NHL game. And, with NHL GameCenter LIVE users can watch every out-of-market regular season game live.
Other app options include live scores and game stats, live game simulation with an active game clock, player and game stats, customizable alerts, among other features.
