The extended editions of all three ‘Hobbit’ films from Peter Jackson will be shown on the big screen this October over the course of three nights. This will be the first time the extended editions have been shown in theaters, and the first time the extended edition of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies has ever been seen (the Extended Edition will release to Blu-ray Disc on November 27th, 2015).

The limited showing of the extended editions will be shown in over 500 movie theaters throughout the U.S., and fans can use FathomEvents.com to find a participating location.

The Hobbit Trilogy, from New Line Cinema, MGM, and Warner Bros., has grossed close to $3 billion at the worldwide box office.
