The animated film Home from DreamWorks Animation has been released early to digital format, almost a month before the Blu-ray Disc, DVD, and On Demand rental options are available. The film can be purchased from most video distributors for $14.99, in either SD or HD quality. The more expensive places to buy Home are Xfinity TV On Demand and Verizon FiOS On Demand, where the title is priced at $16.99.
Home was directed by Tim Johnson and stars Jim Parsons, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, and Steve Martin. The film was released to theaters on March 27, 2015 and grossed over $170M in US theaters alone.
