Each Tuesday we highlight a few of the top Blu-ray Disc, DVD and Digital HD releases for the week.
One of the most popular movie releases today is Jupiter Ascending in both Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray. The Blu-ray Disc combos from Warner Home Video include Digital HD copies via UltraViolet, as well as extra bonus featurettes.
The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water is now available from Paramount Home Media on Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray. The Blu-ray combos also include DVD and Digital HD copies of the film redeemable with either iTunes or UltraViolet.
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has released Justified: The Complete Final Season to a 3-Disc Blu-ray edition that includes a redemption code for Digital HD copies via UltraViolet.
Starring Kevin Costner as cross-country coach Jim White, McFarland, USA is now available from Walt Disney Studios on Blu-ray Disc and DVD. Both the BD and DVD include the bonus content “Inspiring McFarland: and “Juntos” music video. The Blu-ray combo edition also includes the bonus feature “McFarland Reflections,” as well as deleted material and extended scenes. The Blu-ray release also includes a digital copy via Disney Movies Anywhere or iTunes.
And, of the more anticipated releases this week is the collection of all episodes of the HBO series The Wire. The 20-disc set includes all five seasons along with extras, commentaries, and Digital HD copies of the episodes.
