If you’re in the market for an ultra fast USB Flash Drive, SanDisk has got two new models that support USB 3.0. The larger of the two, the 256GB SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0, is Sandisk’s largest capacity USB Flash Drive to date. The smaller 128GB SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 is what Sandisk calls the “world’s smallest 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive.”
How fast are these drives rated? The 256GB SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 can move data at speeds up to 100Mbps, while the smaller, 128GB SanDisk USB 3.0 Flash Drive can reach transfer speeds up to 130Mbps. The improved USB 3.0 spec can transfer data over ten-times faster than USB 2.0.
Both new SanDisk USB 3.0 Flash Drives include a five-year warranty, and SanDisk SecureAccess software with password protection and 128-bit encryption.
The 256GB SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 carries an MSRP of $199.99 (pictured above), while the 128GB SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.0 Flash Drive (pictured below) has an MSRP of $119.99.
