AXS TV has announced it will broadcast Simon Cowell’s The X Factor UK for the second consecutive year. The agreement between AXS TV, Cowell’s Syco Entertainment, and FremantleMedia UK includes 34-episodes that premiere this fall. The U.S. airings of the show will follow the U.K. premieres by 24 hours, and encore presentations will be broadcast after AXS TV’s initial showings.
“The X Factor UK is a stand out series for AXS TV that excels in consistently delivering unforgettable performances from both today’s top artists and aspiring vocalists, alike. American viewers have embraced this series, as last season’s dramatic storylines and eliminations led to significant increases in engagement each week,” said AXS TV Senior Vice President of Programming and Development Michele M. Dix.
AXS TV is available on AT&T U-verse (Ch. 1106 HD), Charter, Comcast/Xfinity, DirecTV (Ch. 340 HD), Dish (Ch. 167), Suddenlink, Verizon FiOS (Ch. 569 HD), and other TV service providers. The network is a partnership between Mark Cuban, AEG, Ryan Seacrest Media, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and CBS
