Suddenlink and Sony Movie Channel have come to a multi-year agreement that gives subscribers access to the high-definition movie channel. The channel is currently playing films such as First Knight, The Toy, Clive Barker’s The Plague, and Stir Crazy among the selected titles from the Sony Pictures archive.
“Sony Movie Channel’s carefully curated programming schedule features highly-rated commercial films as well as award-winning indies, and this agreement with Suddenlink gives more people the opportunity to enjoy the robust collection of movies offered by the network,” said Superna Kalle, SMC’s general manager and SVP, Sony Pictures Television Networks.
“Sony Movie Channel brings a whole host of great movie choices to our customers,” said Kathy Payne, Suddenlink senior vice president and chief programming officer. “This channel adds great value to Suddenlink’s lineup, particularly for avid movie fans looking for more great entertainment.”
Sony Movie Channel is also available on AT&T U-Verse, CenturyLink, DISH, DIRECTV, and Verizon FiOS.
Suddenlink is the seventh largest cable TV provider in the U.S., serving sixteen states including Arkansas, Arizona, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, and West Virginia.
