HBO’s Game of Thrones: The Complete Fourth Season is now available to pre-order from retailers nationwide. The 10-episode season will come packaged in both Blu-ray and DVD editions, with the Blu-ray boxed set also including DVD and Digital HD copies via UltraViolet access code. The standard-definition DVD set carries a list price of $59.99, while the high-definition Blu-ray edition is list-priced at $79.99.
Pre-order discounts on Game of Thrones: The Complete Fourth Season are fairly consistent across most major retailers: Best Buy, Walmart, Target and Amazon all have the Blu-ray edition priced at $44.99 (a 44% discount). However, the DVD edition is priced $37.99 at Best Buy and Target, but $3 cheaper from Amazon and Walmart at $34.96.
Although none of the retailers above provide an exact release yet date for Game of Thrones: The Complete Fourth Season (as of this article), HBO officially announced yesterday a street date of February 17, 2015. This is consistent with the previous second and third seasons that were released Feb. 19 and Feb. 18, respectively.
