Yahoo Screen to bring back Community for 6th Season

If you’re a fan of the comedy sitcom Community, you’ll be happy to know Yahoo Screen has picked up the sixth season of the show. NBC had decided not to bring back Community for another season, but it just so happened that Yahoo was looking for a TV series to compete with companies such as Amazon and Netflix who have picked up shows that have been cancelled but already have large enough fan bases. Show creator Dan Harmon will return for season six, as well as many original cast members (although we don’t have a confirmed list yet.) Community began in 2009 with a 25-episode season of half-hour (22-minute) shows. The series, directed by Anthony Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), stars Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, and Danny Pudi.
