The List of 2014 Oscar Winners

Who took home the Oscars last night? As expected, Gravity won more Oscars than any other film but did not take home the Best Picture award which went to 12 Years a Slave directed by Steve McQueen. Matthew McConaughey won the coveted Best performance by an actor in a leading role award for his performance in Dallas Buyers Club, and Cate Blanchett won the Oscar for Best performance by an actress in a leading role for her work in Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine. 

The Best Achievement in directing award went to Alfonso Cuaron for his work Gravity, and the Best Original Screenplay went to Spike Jonze for Her.
