Not going to be near a big screen TV this Super Bowl? FOX will be providing a free stream of Super Bowl XLVIII via the FOX Sports GO app and FoxSportsGo.com website. The game between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks officially starts at 6:30 p.m. ET, but the live stream starts at noon with special programming followed by the pre-game show starting at 2 p.m. Eastern.
To stream the Super Bowl game via a web browser on PC or Mac you don’t even have to sign-in with your TV provider info, the live stream is basically open for everyone. FOX asks you to sign-in via your Facebook account for a more social experience, but it’s not required.
The FOX Sports GO app is compatible with Apple iOS devices including the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. For Android, it appears the app is available in preview mode for some Android devices with version 4.1 OS or higher. (See list of devices below.) The app provides first access to this year’s Super Bowl commercials, as well as trending content across social media.
