DirecTV has launched beIN SPORT en Español in HD, giving Spanish-language viewers the chance to watch sports events from around not typically found on U.S. networks. beIN SPORT focuses on soccer, or fútbol, more than any other sport, broadcasting matches from La Liga (the top professional Spanish soccer league), Serie A (the Italian League), Ligue 1 (France’s top pro league), and World Cup Qualifiers. The channel is part of DirecTV’s Spanish-language base TV package or as an add-on in the En Español add-on package. beIN SPORT HD en Español can be found on DirecTV Channel 426.
Other international sports you’ll find on beIN SPORT include tennis, Superbike World Championship (SBK), European cycling, rugby, golf and volleyball.
The channel is available in English on DirecTV Channel 620 (SD/HD). The channel is offered in the top-tier Premiere package or as part of the DIRECTV Sports Pack add-on.
beIN SPORT first launched in English and Spanish in the US in August, 2012. The channel can also be found on Dish, Verizon FiOS, and certain cable TV providers including Comcast. The network is jointly owned and operated by Qatari Sports Investments.
