Amazon adds PBS shows to Prime Instant Video

Downton Abbey series 3 still - Carnival/Masterpiece via PBS

Amazon has announced an expanded agreement with PBS that adds more shows to the Prime Instant Video library. The new episodes come from existing PBS series including NOVA, Masterpiece, and Ken Burns documentaries. For kids, the agreement adds episodes from PBS KIDS shows such as Arthur, Caillou, Daniels Tiger’s Neighborhood, Dinosaur Train and Wild Kratts. Nanny Note: All PBS KIDS shows are accessible through Amazon’s Kindle FreeTime Unlimited service.

If you’re a fan of Downton Abbey, it’s worth noting Amazon is the exclusive video subscription provider of the Carnival/MASTERPIECE production. Later this year, the company announced, Amazon Instant Video will be the exclusive home to all seasons of the show.
