Online streaming movie service Flixster is now available for Xbox 360, letting console owners purchase or rent from thousands of available film titles. Xbox LIVE members can download the free app from the LIVE Marketplace that boasts support for Microsoft Kinect devices (letting you navigate with voice and gestures) and lets you purchase UltraViolet titles and access your existing library. The Flixster app provides scoring, reviews, and movie trailers from film review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. Technical specifications of the Flixter app for Xbox 360 include support for standard and high definition movies, and 5.1 surround sound with Dolby Digital Plus. Flixster (founded in 2007 and parent site of Rotten Tomatoes since 2010), was acquired by Warner Bros. in May, 2011.
