NBC Sports Live Extra app now available for Comcast, Cablevision, Verizon FiOS, & Suddenlink customers

nbc-live-extra-app-logoCan’t get enough sports? The NBC Sports Live Extra app is now available to stream content from NBC, NBC Sports Network & Golf Channel on mobile devices. The service first launched last night with the Penguins vs. Lightning NHL game. Comcast Xfinity, Cablevision, Verizon FiOS, & Suddenlink customers are the first to get NBC Sports Live Extra, which boasts access to more than 4,000 hours and 1,000 events throughout the year.

“With thousands of hours of compelling sports content now available via TV Everywhere across digital, mobile and tablets, NBC Sports Live Extra is a must-have product for sports fans” said Rick Cordella, SVP & GM, Digital Media, NBC Sports Group.

NBC Sports Group programming includes the 2014 Olympic Winter Games, NFL, NHL, PGA TOUR, U.S. Open Golf, Notre Dame Football, French Open, Premier League, MLS, Formula One, IndyCar, Horse Racing’s Triple Crown among other sporting events.

NBC says the TV Everywhere service is expected to become available through additional TV providers soon.
