At $8,999, LG’s Laser TV projects a 100″ full HD image requiring just 22″ of distance from the wall. And, with 150 nit brightness, the Laser TV holds images even in lighter room situations. What’s also great about the LG Laser TV projector is that it doesn’t require a traditional distant mounting location. Rather, it can be mounted on the floor (not so practical) or on the ceiling (very practical), just a couple feet from the included 100-inch LG Cinema Screen. Other notable features include 25,000 hour laser illumination system (which is about 5 times longer than standard projector lamps), ATSC tuner, 20W stereo speaker system, 3 HDMI, 2 USB, optical audio output, and RS-232 interface. For connectivity the LG integrates Smart TV with built in Wi-Fi. You can also connect compatible devices with the built-in Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) and Wi-Fi Direct (Miracast). LG says the new 100″ Laser TV will be available in the US starting next month.
