NBC has announced The Office final episode will be Thursday, May 16, 2013. The finale of the long-running series will be a one-hour special that ends in the show’s 200th episode after nine-seasons on air.
So far we haven’t heard anything about Steve Carell possibly appearing in the last episode, but NBC has got to be aware that ‘Office’ fans are certainly hoping for a surprise.
The Office is broadcast in 480i (SD) and 1080i (HD) on NBC. The final episode will air at 9 p.m. ET.
