Are you starving for more 3D content? Universal Studio’s Jurassic Park will release to 3D Blu-ray Disc and UltraViolet on April 23, 2013. Special features include the “Making Of
Trailers for ‘Jurassic Park,'” “The Lost World,” “Jurassic Park 3,” Storyboards, pre-production meeting footage, special effects supervisor Phil Tippett’s animatics, Foley artists, and Dinosaur encyclopedia. The 3D edition will also include 2D Blu-ray, DVD, Digital, and UltraViolet copies (a total of 3 discs).
About a month earlier on March 26, Universal will release the 20th Anniversary edition of Jurassic Park (non 3D) on Blu-ray. Just like the 3D release, this edition will include BD, DVD, Digital, and UltraViolet copies. Jurassic Park was previously released in high-definition, but only in The Jurassic Park Ultimate Trilogy on Oct. 2011.
The 3D Blu-ray release follows a theatrical run of Jurassic Park in 3D theaters opening April 5, 2013. The film will also get a one-week play at IMAX 3D theaters starting April 5, but will be yanked on April 12 in order to make room for Tom Cruise’s Oblivion.
You can pre-order Jurassic Park 3D Blu-ray or Jurassic Park Blu-ray both with DVD, Digital and UltraViolet copies from Amazon.
